The Vault Compass is a Research that allows the player to locate specific points of interest within the Vault. By default, it points toward the Vault Exit, but once the player fulfills certain discovery milestones, new target types become available.

Changing the target inside a Vault costs 10% of the player's total health, just like consuming a Vault Fruit. However, targets can be changed freely and without penalty outside of a Vault.

Upon fully discovering a Target the Compass will spin randomly. (Just like a normal Compass in the Nether)

Unlockable Targets

Each new target becomes available after the player fulfills its associated requirement. Once unlocked, the player can switch between them before or during a Vault (at the cost mentioned above). The requirements are based on the players local difficulty and will update when the difficulty changes.
