Vault Gear Overview

Vault Gear is specially designed to enhance the player’s abilities within a Vault. However, it can also be used in the overworld without incurring any durability loss. It scales alongside player progression, offering highly customisable and upgradeable armour and weapons.

Vault Gear is essential for both survival and efficiency within Vaults, offering unique attributes, affixes, and special abilities not available on standard Minecraft equipment.

Types of Vault Gear

  • Trinkets – Provide various buffs to the player.
  • Armour – Includes Shield, Wand, Focus, Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots; offers protection and additional buffs.
  • Weapons – Includes Sword and Axe.
  • God Charms – Provide additional stat bonuses.
  • Void Stones – Primarily used for junk management, but also grant player stats.

Obtaining Vault Gear

Vault Gear is primarily obtained as loot within Vaults, particularly from:

Rarity Tiers

Vault Gear can roll with different rarity levels, each increasing the number and potency of affix slots:

  • Scrappy – Basic gear with minimal stats.
  • Common – Slight improvement, may include prefixes or suffixes.
  • Rare – Multiple affixes with improved base stats.
  • Epic – Enhanced affixes and multiple stat types.
  • Omega – Top-tier gear with the highest stat potential.
  • Unique (Very Rare) – Ultra-rare items with fixed, powerful, non-craftable abilities.

Affixes and Attributes

Each item of Vault Gear may include:

  • Prefixes – Offensive stats (e.g., +Damage, Critical Chance, Attack Speed).
  • Suffixes – Defensive or utility stats (e.g., +Health, Resistance, Mana).
  • Implicit Stats – Default bonuses based on gear type (e.g., Movement Speed on boots).
  • Repair Slots – Indicates how many times a Repair Core can be applied in an anvil to fix the item when it breaks due to durability loss.
  • Durability – Determines how much damage the item can withstand before breaking. Once broken, it ceases to provide any benefits.

Transmogs

Players can collect themed gear sets for visual customisation, known as transmogs, which can be applied at the Transmog Table for a small cost. Some items can also be dyed using Minecraft dyes in the crafting grid or enhanced with Runes, which can be crafted and applied via an anvil.
