Loot tables in Vault Hunters 3 determine the items players can acquire from various sources within Vaults and other gameplay features. These items scale with progression, difficulty, and modifiers, and serve as the core incentive behind exploration, combat, and looting.

Vault Chests

Vault Chests are the most common loot containers found throughout Vaults. Chest loot is influenced by the Vault level, modifiers, and player's gear.

Chest Types:

  • Wooden Chest – Contains Items such as Mod Boxes, Plating and Carbon
  • Gilded Chest – Contains items such as Vault Diamonds, Trinkets and Jewel Pouches
  • Ornate Chest – Contains combat-oriented loot like Vault gear, Carbon and Focus
  • Living Chest – Contains loot related to knowledge and progression: Knowledge Dust, Inscriptions and God Charns.
  • Coin Piles - Piles of coins that can be looted

Mob Drops

  • Soul Shards – Currency used in the Black Market.
  • Champion Loot - Higher Tier items and gold.

Boss Crates

Awarded after defeating a Vault Objective. Contents scale significantly with Vault level and player modifiers.

Treasure Rooms (Key Rooms)

  • Legendary Rolled Gear Piece
  • Treasure Sand
