The Vault Forge is the Workstation where players can craft Vault gear. Unlike dropped gear, crafted gear allows the player to select the itemβs level with a slider, consuming stored materials.
Mechanics
- Each crafted piece costs:
- 3x Vault Alloy
- 1x Vault Gold
- Materials can be stored infinitely inside the Forge (respects Coin Pouch).
- The crafted gear can be further modified in the Artisan Station.
Proficiency
Donating Vault Scrap (earned through the Vault Recycler) to the Forge increases the playerβs Forge Proficiency Level. Proficiency is tracked per player and influences the outcome of crafted gear.
Higher proficiency improves:
- Durability of crafted gear (max = Excellent)
- Crafting Potential (max = 100%)
- Rarity Pool (max = Rare+)
- Maximum Repair Slots (up to 6)
- Soulbound Chance (max = 50%)
- Greater Modifier Chance (max = 50% at Grandmaster level)
Unique Shards
- Unique Shards can now be used to craft a Random Unique in the Vault Forge
- Shards are obtained when scrapping a unique piece
- To craft unique gear, players must have reached Grandmaster crafting level
Notes
- Proficiency only applies to the player who donated Vault Scrap.
- Gear crafted in the Forge is equivalent to looted gear but tailored by the playerβs proficiency.
- The slider allows selecting any craftable level within your progression range.
