Companion Event Mechanics
Event Trigger
- Chance: 25% chance to occur in any vault run (1 in 4)
- Timing: Randomly triggers between 5 minutes and the vault's maximum duration
- Requirement: Activates after collecting a randomly determined amount of XP
- Restrictions: Does not occur in:
- Royale Vaults
- Greed Vaults
- Herald Vaults
- Ascension Vaults
- PvP Vaults
- Raid Vaults
XP Reward Factors
The companion's XP reward is affected by:
Base Value
- Determined by vault level (base = vault level × 1000)
Modifiers
- Crystal Modifiers (not braziers):
* Each good modifier increases reward by 20%
- Inscriptions:
* Each inscription increases reward by 10%
- Random Bonus:
* Adds 0-25% additional XP
Difficulty Multipliers

- Only affects vaults above level 50
- Discounts reduce the final reward (applied last)
- The system tracks XP collection during the vault run
Hatching Companion Eggs
Crafting Companion Incubator you insert the egg in waiting until the timer on the egg finishes.
Companion Home
Once a companion hatched you can place it in a block called Companion Home place the pet in it then you can right click the companion to add relics and particles.
Healing
Crafting a companion snack then sneak right clicking your pet in the home block will heal one heart of the pet.
(Note if a companion retires you cannot heal them anymore).
Companion Leveling and Cooldown
Companion levels up to one to one ratio based on the xp you get at the end of the vault also goes on cooldown.

Temporal Modifiers
Each companion you find will have one random temporal modifier cannot be changed and the duration gets buffed by one minute on each level.

Rock Solid | Players within the vault get 50% Resistance and 100% Knockback Resistance |

Totemic | Mobs have a chance to spawn a random totem upon death |

Pylon Hunter | All Pylons will be highlighted in the vault |

Charming | When killing a mob it will cast charming around it |

Glued Mobs | Mobs will receive -90% movement Speed |

Soul Fest | Mobs will drop 1000% increase soul shards |

Companion Relics
Companions are found in Vault Chests and Dungeon Crates rarely you can increase the chance using item rarity.
