As levels are gained in Vault Hunters, different tool qualities are unlocked depending on the materials used in crafting. At higher levels within the pack, the cost of tools increases, while capacity and the number of repair slots are also adjusted.
The unlock requirements, cost, and crafting process can be viewed and carried out in the Tool Station.
