Personal Vaults are a customizable vault system that replaces the former Paradox Vaults. They allow players to construct their own vault layout using a grid-based system and specialized items.
Unlocking
Personal Vaults are accessed through the Personal Vault Builder.
The available vault size expands as the player progresses in Greed.

Layout System
Personal Vaults use a 9×9 grid layout.
- The grid is divided into 4 rings
- Players can place rooms freely within unlocked rings
- Layout can be changed between runs
- Provides full control over vault structure
This system allows for significantly more flexibility compared to Paradox Vaults.
Room Placement
Rooms are added using Super Inscriptions.
- Each inscription adds a specific room
- Rooms can be placed anywhere within unlocked grid spaces
- Different rooms provide different benefits and layouts
Modifiers
Special vault modifiers can be added using Super Catalysts.
- Adds additional effects to the vault
- Can increase difficulty or rewards
Time Mechanics
Personal Vaults include built-in time scaling:
- Each room provides a time boost
- More rooms = longer vault duration
Cooldown
Personal Vaults can be entered once every:
- 20 hours
This cooldown is shared across all Personal Vault runs.
