Words from the team; Hallo hunters\! Our Update 20 is aimed at polishing and refactoring old and half-finished systems, to make the game, in its current state, feel more complete and shiny\! This paves the road for the final update in the future, and hopefully allows a lot of replayability and enjoyment\!
Highlights
Forge/Mod Updates
We have updated the forge version to 40.3.11 along with multiple mods. This includes Auxiliary Blocks which now includes a series of Festive Blocks
Herald Changes
- Velara Stage
- Rather than many different waves of mobs, there are now 5 set waves
- Each wave, a gray zone will appear on the floor. You must lure mobs into this zone and kill them to complete the zone
- When a zone is completed (fully green), the mobs will despawn and the next zone will appear, with mobs spawning shortly after.
- After all zones are completed, all mobs despawn and Herald will continue to the next phase.
- Wendarr Stage
- Breaking all sparks in time will now result in Herald instantly becoming stunned, skipping his attack.
New & Updated Rooms
- Memory Room
- Players will enter the room and activate the pillar, 4 sigils will appear on the upper level of the room. Make sure to memorize these shapes and colors\!
- Once the timer runs out, you must break the sigils you remember seeing on the floor. If correctly guessed, rewards will spawn; If failed, guardians will spawn
- Dragon Room
- The Dragon room got a huge update, players now enter the lower pit and activate the pillar.
- There will be 4 waves of goblins that spawn from the tunnels and they will path to the center portal.
- There are 7 types of Goblins with respective drops. Uniques, Cards, Gear, Jewels, Fruit, Gold, and Soul Shards.
- Warehouse
- An Omega room for cardpacks, cute little cardboard boxes fill the room. Make sure to check the upper office area.
Gear Updates
Unique Gear
- Unique Shards can now be used to craft a Random Unique in the Vault Forge, these are obtained when scrapping a unique piece.
- In order to craft a unique gear piece, the player must have reached Grandmaster crafting level

Vorpal Rework
- Vorpal Focus’ were replaced with Ascendant Marks and the Gear Sealer. Sealing Gear requires Gold, Painite, and an Ascendant Mark. Doing so will replace an Affix with a Sealed Modifier.

Chaotic Gear
- This new rarity does not follow the usual conventions of vault gear. There is no modifier exclusivity, and prefix/suffix modifiers do not respect their position. Any affix modifier can be anywhere.
- Legendary gear can roll with two of the same modifiers.
- Chaotic Gear can be found by killing Champions and found in Dungeons.
- Chaotic Gear cannot be rolled in the Artisan Station.
Imbuement Altar & Dungeon Overhaul
- Dungeons have been redesigned creating a more cohesive layout and decor design.
- Barrels will be placed behind a spawner to create a fight before looting feel
- Dungeon Bosses must be killed before unlocking the Imbuement Altar
- Dungeons can offer an Imbuement Altar, Discovery Globe, Alchemy Archive. There is a chance they offer nothing
- Imbuement Altars offer an improvement to a selected Modifier. Imbuing gear becomes unmodifiable, failure will also corrupt the gear making it unmodifiable.
- Discovery Globes will reveal a specified room based on the Globe type.
- With this change, the Modifier Workbench is now a Legacy item
Sigils
- We’ve introduced a new way to increase the difficulty of your vaults. Sigils allow players to increase the risk for a better reward. There are 5 different tiers of sigils; The first 4 are craftable
- Adept 50% Harder
- Expert 100% Harder
- Master 150% Harder
- Veteran 300% Harder
- Legend 500% Harder \- Obtainable in Treasure Rooms
Card System
- There are four new stations for players to create and manage your decks
- Unboxing Station allows for a semi-automated way to open card packs and jewel pouches. You can place the packs/pouches inside of the block (using routers/hoppers as well as right clicking) and when opening the container, you are presented with the same options as you would when opening normally. Once selected, the item is placed in the container below it (Also contains an option to Juice/Recycle).
- In addition with this feature, there is a new accessibility option to display the tooltip as text below.
- You can also use numbers 1-\[Max Options\] to select quickly.
- The Card Binder is where a player will create decks, and store cards. Players can also sort through different types of cards with the many tabs and the filter search bar.
- The Deck Station is where a player will unlock and craft their decks. Some decks even require Research and Tasks to be completed before acquiring them. The Deck Station is also where players can craft basic Cores. For more advanced Cores players can explore Dungeons.
- Card Upgrade Station is a simplified way to upgrade your cards, just insert your card and card juice and extract the upgraded version.

Arcane Cards no longer have a requirement, and can only be placed within Arcane Slots inside of Decks. Evolution Cards no longer have a Card Type condition. Deck Modifiers were removed and replaced with Sockets. Sockets can be filled with Cores using an Anvil.
- Available Core Deck Modifiers include
- Azure: All Blue cards will be X% more efficient
- Bounty: \+X Crate Tier Completing a vault with at least X Resource Card(s)
- Crimson: All Red cards will be X% more efficient
- Viridian: All Green cards will be X% more efficient
- Empyreal: All cards in X slots will be X% more efficient
- Equilibrium: \+X% Stat card efficiency per unique deck colour
- Fortune: \+X% chance for Resource cards to double rewards
- Golden: All Yellow cards will be X% more efficient
- Harvest: \-X% Resource card requirements
- Shiny: All Foil cards will be X% more efficient
- Steadfast: All Stat cards will be X% more efficient
Other Additions
- Added new keybinds for Coin Pouch, Antique Book, and Shard Pouch
- You can also now hover the item in your inventory and press the keybind to open it
- Updated Inventory Hud
- Note: This will not carry over any of your previous settings
- You can now set individual elements settings
- The interface is much cleaner and easier to view the elements
- Crystal Workbench UI has been updated, allowing for Sigils, Capstones, Seals, Augments
- Added a new chest trap called Mana Steal and when in its radius, it will constantly drain mana until it despawns.
- Added a new Capstone called the Blacksmith Capstone, allows for the scrapping of all non legendary gear or Vault Pendants found in chests.
- Added a new Companion Hunt Capstone that guarantees a hunt at some point in the vault for every user above level 50 that joins

Balance Updates
- Crafting proficiencies have been rebalanced to quicker reach Master level, we have also increased the chance of a greater modifier to 50% on Grandmaster level (from 10%)
- Rune Boss Updates
- Runes are now slightly rarer, and can no longer come from coin piles or ores
- The Runes have got an increased range for Damage rolls
- We have corrected the Golem Boss damage type causing one-shots if the player had very low or no resistance
- We have updated the Spider Boss to have a base attack (she didn’t previously)
- We have lowered the frequency spam of the cobweb range attack and boogieman summon attacks
- Elixir Updates
- We lowered the elixir requirement at the level 50 step, to avoid the massive “wall” with this objective at that level
- We made a new tier at level 100 to account for end game, raising the required elixir
- We cleaned up a lot of mob bugs affecting elixir orbs
- We changed the Elixir Orbs to be particles instead of entities, helping frame rate for gamers
- We lowered the chances greatly to get high elixir rolls on coin piles and ores
- Introduced an 80% AOE Cap and a 56.2% Lucky Hit Cap
- Balancing changes to Rogue (lab elite)
- Balancing changes to Yellow Ghost

Changes
- When a chest is trapped below Hard difficulty, the chest will no longer disappear
- When joining a vault, players health, food, mana, and abilities cooldown & active state is now reset to default
- When in the starting room of a vault, and the time is paused players cannot fruit
- When adding too many curses and entering a vault the player will now experience death as though the timer expired.
- Temporal Relics can now stack
- Ability Quickbinds now support key combinations for 1 ability
- Updated all statistics tooltips to be easier to read and have colours matching their key words.
- Added player argument to vault level command

- Prestige powers will now auto activate if they require activation
